Multiple Crashes on US20 at Mile Post 313 in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS ID – Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle crash that occurred on September 10,2026 on eastbound US20 at mile marker 313, in Idaho Falls.

A 25-year-old-male, from Rigby, was driving eastbound in a 2017 Audi A4.  The Audi A4 went off the roadway, through a fence, and came to rest near the railroad tracks.  A tow truck arrived on scene to remove the vehicle.

A 34-year-old-female, from Rexburg, was driving eastbound in a 2020 GMC Acadia.  The GMC Acadia slowed down for emergency crews in the area and were then struck from behind by a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The Jeep was driven by a 68-year-old-female from Idaho Falls.

All drivers were wearing seatbelts.

The driver of the GMC Acadia was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

This crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
