Two Vehicle Injury Crash in Custer County
CUSTER, Idaho – Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a two-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred at 4:45 PM on August 6th, 2026, on State Highway 75 at milepost 175.3, just south of Stanley.
A 2012 Nissan, driven by a 38-year-old male, from Boise, was driving northbound on SH75 when he drove off the right shoulder than over corrected into the southbound lane of travel and collided with a 2020 Toyota, driven by a 23-year-old male with four passengers, all from Cleveland, Tennessee, traveling southbound on SH75.
The driver of the Nissan and driver and a passenger of the Toyota were transported by air ambulance. All other passengers were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The southbound lane was blocked for approximately 2 and a half hours by emergency services, but traffic was still able to get through the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by ISP.
